With this one, Tommy was never quite happy with the original cut and had long wanted to go back and change some things in it. He mostly wanted to change things from a material point of view but there was some technical issues as well. Cutting it was strange as the original dvd was a much loved one, so we had to balance our desire to do what we wanted with that of a devoted fanbase who already knew the original inside out and who might be sensitive to change. I think it worked out well in the end.
