The Weather Report (Short)

2014 – Two for Joy Films – Dir: Paul Murphy

I was delighted to edit this film as it was directed by my older brother Paul. It is his first drama film and it turned out really well. Paul has been one of the biggest supporters of me and my chosen career. In fact he bought me my first mac enabling me to get a start in editing so I pretty much owe him everything! Doing this short will hopefully be just another step in our ongoing series of collaborations.

SYNOPSIS
The film centres around a mysterious phone call which questions a routine weather report by Lighthouse Keeper Ted Sweeney. This leads his wife Maureen to question more than just the weather report.
The film was shot entirely on location in Blacksod Lighthouse in Belmullet, Co.Mayo.
